The High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Rezan Kader, meets the Finland Ambassador S.E. Pia Rantala-Engberg
Yesterday morning, October 30th, the High Representative Mrs. Rezan Kader paid a courtesy call on Mrs. S.E. Pia Rantala-Engberg, the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland, at her office in Rome.
During the visit, Mrs. Kader have had the opportunity to update the Ambassador on current political, economic and cultural situation in the Kurdistan Region. The visit was also an opportunity for Mrs. Kader to congratulate S.E. Mrs. Pia Rantala-Engberg on the excellent work done by Finland during the European presidency semester. Mrs Kader has always appreciated the role that Finland covers both in Europe and within the international community.
Mrs. Kader believes that the two diplomatic representations have extraordinary bilateral relations in all the political, economic and cultural fields.
Therefore - Mrs Kader declares - our meeting intends to further develop and strengthen these collaborations.
Both the High Representative Mrs. Kader and the Ambassador Pia Rantala-Engberg have registered broad convergences on global issues, having the two countries the same goal of promoting peace, freedom, democracy, multilateralism, while sharing the core concept that human rights can be guaranteed only through a policy of dialogue.
