Today, Mrs. Kader received the President of the Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof Adnan Abdulazziz, with a delegation composed of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs and International Relations, Dr. Zeerak Azizkhan Ahmed, the Dean of the Shekhan Technical Institute, Dr. Dhia Mustafa Sulaiman, and the Director of Skills development, Dr. Abid Ekhlass Jarjees, on official visit to Italy for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Duhok Polytechnic University and the Polytechnic of Turin.

The delegation, led by the High Representative, was welcomed by the Vice-Rector for international affairs, Prof. Bernardino Chiaia, by the Head of Department of International Affairs, Dr. Silvia Vacca, and Ms. Clara Vassallo International Relations Office.

Prof. Chiaia welcomed the delegation and presented the Turin Polytechnic University, stressing the importance of the signing of this MoU with the University of Duhok in order to strengthen the already excellent relations between Italy and the Kurdistan region.

In turn, Prof. Adnan thanked the Vice Rector of the Polytechnic of Turin for their kind hospitality and for allowing the development of this relationship between the respective universities which will provide for exchange of students, researchers, the organization of workshps, seminars, the realization of scientific publications, training courses both in the Kurdistan Region and in Italy.

He also thanked Mrs. Kader for her kind cooperation in arranging their visit and for having promoted and identified this important Italian university.

Following the signing of the Mou, the delegation was accompanied by a visit to the University campus, the classrooms and laboratories.
