On December 12 , Mrs. Rezan Kader, High Representative of the Kurdistan regional government of Iraq in Italy, has organized at the Representation office of KRG in Italy a restricted meeting between the Min. Falah and a large delegation of Italian firms interested in investing in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The meeting was aimed at simple knowledge and presentation of investment opportunities in the region of Kurdistan and for any clarification to companies interested in investing in Iraqi Kurdistan. The Minister Falah has presented the major investment opportunities that the Region of Kurdistan offers in the energy sector, engineering, agriculture, and tourism. The Region has launched laws to facilitate foreign investment in site and the Government, through the competent authorities is available to provide total support to the businesses in terms of economic support and logistics.
The Region of Kurdistan is a country in reconstruction with strong growth that needs of foreign know-how, stressed the Head of the DFR of the KRG. The companies have addressed several questions to the Minister Falah, thanking him for the opportunity that had been offered.
