DIPLOMAS OF STUDY AND ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS

DIPLOMAS OF STUDY AND ACADEMIC DOCUMENTS Diplomas of study and academic documents can be authenticated at the Representation in Italy of the Kurdistan Regional Government. To proceed with the legalization, the following documents are required: • Original copy of the study diploma / academic document stamped and signed by the institution (School / University) • Translation of the copy in Kurdish / Arabic with sworn and certified translation at the competent Court • Legalization at the Prefecture - Legalization Office • Copy of the Kurdish / Italian identity documents of the interested. LEGALIZATION OF DOCUMENTS: To have legal value in the Kurdistan Region, a document must be authenticated at the Offices of the Representation in Italy of the Kurdistan Regional Government. Regardless of the type of document and / or its content, the procedure is as follows:

1. Submit the original copy of the document, translated into Kurdish / Arabic with sworn and certified translation at the competent Court.
2. Legalize both copies at the Prefecture - Legalization Office - which have value for foreign countries.
