ASK FOR/ EXTEND LEAVE PERIOD (UNPAID) The interested party can proceed at the offices of the Representation in Italy of the Kurdistan Regional Government to ask for / extend the period of leave (unpaid) already obtained previously. The applicant can apply to the Offices in the presence of the following condition: health reasons. The inability to travel to the Kurdistan Region to ask for / extend the leave period (unpaid) must be proven with a medical report certifying the diagnosis and the inability of the person to travel. Subsequently, the report must be translated into Kurdish / Arabic with a sworn and certified translation by the competent Court. Additional documents required: • Written request from the interested person in which is requests the leave period indicating all useful information • copy of the Kurdish / Italian identity documents of the person. • Ministry card (in the case of a public servant).
