BIRTH CERTIFICATE

BIRTH CERTIFICATE It is the document that indicates the place, year, month and day of birth, the sex of the person and the name given to him. For the Kurdish community living in Italy or more generally abroad, this document is necessary for the registration of children born abroad at the registry office in the Kurdistan Region. To proceed with the legalization, the following documents are required: • original copy of the birth certificate issued by the Municipality; • Translation of the birth certificate in Kurdish / Arabic with sworn and certified translation at the competent Court; • Legalization at the Prefecture - Legalization Office • Copy of a Kurdish / Italian identity document of both parents. NB: to request the Certificate of Life, it is necessary the presence at the Offices of the Representation in Italy of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
