Dr. Rezan Kader meets with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Ahmad Bahmarni

Today, the High Representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Italy, Dr. Rezan Kader, met with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Italy, Dr. Ahmad Barmani, in office since the beginning of the year, at the Iraqi Embassy in Rome.
Dr. Kader, who was unable to attend the reception due to her assumption of office, thanked the Ambassador for the invitation and congratulated him on his prestigious appointment, offering her best wishes for the beginning of his mandate.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in the shared fight against Daesh terrorists.
Finally, both expressed hope for future fruitful collaboration between all national stakeholders, as well as a commitment to working together as the only way to further enhance international assistance to the people.
